With over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, Dana has become known for her calm presence, attention to detail, and ability to design hairstyles that not only photograph beautifully—but last from first look to last dance. Her signature approach blends classic techniques with modern trends, always tailored to the bride’s personal style and vision.

As founder of The Brushing Bride, Dana has built a hand-selected team of artists who share her dedication to elevated service, warm professionalism, and helping every bride feel her most confident self.

The Brushing Bride was originally co-founded by Dana Trantas-Smith and Nicole Nadeau, whose creative vision helped shape the foundation of our brand. Though Nicole is no longer with the company, her early contributions remain a valued part of our story—and we’re grateful for where it all began.
