These Terms & Conditions govern your use of The Brushing Bride website and services. By accessing or booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before using our site or securing services.

1. Booking & Payments

​

A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance is due prior to or on the day of the event, as outlined in your booking proposal. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of services.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

​

Cancellations must be made in writing. Retainers are non-refundable. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees. In the rare event The Brushing Bride must cancel, all payments made (excluding services already rendered) will be refunded in full.

3. Service Minimums

A minimum of four adult services per category (hair or makeup) is required for wedding bookings. Additional assistants may be added based on party size and timeline.

4. Travel & Additional Fees

​

Travel is charged at $1.25 per mile round trip from Timonium, Maryland. Parking or valet fees, if required by the venue, must be covered by the client. Travel to Washington, D.C. incurs a $150 surcharge per stylist. Holiday bookings may include additional charges.

5. Client Responsibilities

​

Clients must arrive with clean, dry hair and a fresh face unless otherwise advised. Delays in start time due to client lateness may impact the completion of services.

​

6. Allergies & Sensitivities

​

It is the client’s responsibility to notify the artist of any allergies or skin sensitivities. The Brushing Bride is not liable for allergic reactions that occur if not disclosed in advance.

7. Use of Images

​

We reserve the right to use behind-the-scenes or professional images of our work for portfolio, website, and social media unless the client submits a written request to withhold them.

​

8. Limitation of Liability

​

The Brushing Bride will not be held liable for circumstances beyond our control (e.g., acts of God, power outages, or accidents). Liability is limited to the value of services rendered.

9. Agreement

​

By using our services and website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms may be updated at any time without notice. The current version will always be available on our website.
